Originally from Skaneateles, New York, Dr. Bunkenburg attended Arizona State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness. She then attended the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2012. Her professional interests include enhancing the human-animal bond and surgery. At home, she enjoys the company of a Rottweiler/Boxer mix named Xavier and two cats named Alex and Gus. During her free time, she enjoys reading, trail walking, watching movies, tailgating and anything LSU football
