Veterinarian Overview
As many of our faithful clients know, Dr. Andrew Baker has been part of the Animal Hospital of the Rockaways since 2002. Dr. Baker grew up in Breezy Point, NY where he currently resides. He began working here as a volunteer the summer before he started high school at Archbishop Molloy. He was employed with us throughout high school and worked during his summers while attending SUNY New Paltz. Dr. Baker graduated in 2010 receiving his Bachelors of Science, he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. He followed his passion and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine & Surgery from Tufts University, Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Baker began his career here in June, 2014. Outside of work he enjoys hiking, biking, horseback riding, and sailing.
