Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ropke, a 2014 graduate of Cornell, joined the Lakewood team to continue to meet the need for veterinary care in the community. She is originally from Long Island, where she grew up always knowing that she would one day become a veterinarian. During her undergraduate years at Cornell University, she gained experience working with dairy cattle and helped perform research on transition cow physiology and nutrition. During veterinary school at Cornell, she focused much of her attention on dairy herd medicine and ambulatory practice. Outside the office, Dr. Ropke loves the outdoors and spends most of her time hiking and swimming with her Labrador Retriever, Nellie.
