Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hanovic is a native of Long Island, growing up in Selden, just down the road from AES.
He attended Binghamton University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, then received his doctorate from the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada. During his senior year, he was the recipient of the Zoetis Award for Excellence in Companion Animal Health Care. Dr. Hanovic has been an employee of AES both prior to and during his veterinary training, and he is excited to continue to advance his veterinary career alongside his AES family. Medical interests include emergency medicine, dermatology, oncology, and strengthening the bond between humans and their animal companions. It is this human-animal bond that Dr. Hanovic couldnt be more proud
to foster as a veterinary practitioner. He strives to provide compassionate care of the highest quality to his patients and the clients who consider them family. Dr. Hanovic is the dad of a rescued pit bull mix named Hudson, and Hudsons feline partner in crime, Yankee. He is an avid movie buff and in his spare time he enjoys participating in various outdoor activities and traveling both near and far.
