Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Robert Pisciotta is a graduate of Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine, class of 1990. He completed an internship in general medicine and surgery at New York's Animal Medical Center in 1991.Dr. Pisciotta has been practicing at the North Fork Animal Hospital since 1993. His area of special interest is avian and exotic pet medicine and surgery. He is also the staff Veterinarian for The Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead. Dr. Pisciotta also volunteers his services to The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation, treating stranded and injured seals, sea turtles and dolphins.Rob and his wife Stacy have two children, Michael and Haley. Family pets include three dogs, one cat, one bird, and a snake. Rob's hobbies include gardening, bicycling, running, triathlon racing, music and snowboarding.
