Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Tom Bowersox (On Call Specialist) grew up in Minnesota where he received his Bachelors degree in Animal Science in 1982 from the University of Minnesota. He then continued his education in the University of Minnesota Veterinary School, where he earned another Bachelors degree in Veterinary Science as well as earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Following his graduation from Veterinary school, he did a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Cornell University. After completion of his internship he was selected into a three-year small animal surgical residency program back at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Bowersox, upon request by the University of Minnesota stayed an additional year as a clinical instructor where he worked and taught in clinics, performed research, and lectured to third year students. Dr. Bowersox then went into private specialty practice for 6 years
