Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Laura TwedtDr. Twedt received her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from the University of Georgia, College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked in private practice in Pennsylvania immediately after graduation, then returned to school to obtain a Masters of Science Degree in Wild Animal Health at the University of London, UK. A Zoo Animal residency was completed at the Bronx Zoo, in 2003, bringing her to New York. Dr. Twedt returned to private practice in 2003, and is happy to have found a permanent home at Meadow Veterinary Hospital! When not working/playing with animals, Dr. Twedt enjoys jogging, hiking, and playing piano.
