Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Zuckerman received his Bachelors in Science in Marine Biology from Farleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck N.J. He received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, Saint Christopher. His senior year in veterinary school was spent doing clinical rotations such as medicine, surgery and anesthesiology at the University Of Minnesota School Of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Zuckerman is a former adjunct professor of comparative anatomy at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., Dr. Zuckerman is on the advisory board for the Animal Welfare League and frequently provides services and consultations with animal rescue organizations such as Pet Rescue and Adopt-A-Dog. Dr. Zuckerman has certification from the USDA/APHIS for international health certificates and in Stem Cell Therapy. His special interests are Dentistry, Internal and Regenerative Medicine and Soft tissue surgery. Dr. Zuckerman lives in Westchester County N.Y with his wife, 2 daughters and his Rottweiler "Shayna" and Malti-Poo "Charlie". When he is not taking care of your pets, Dr. Zuckerman enjoys fishing and spending time with family and friends
