Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Joe Grossi has been a veterinarian in the greater Cincinnati area since 1967. He grew up in Steubenville, an industrial town in eastern Ohio. After graduating from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, he was offered a position as an associate veterinarian at Montgomery Animal Hospital (MAH) located in Kenwood, a Cincinnati suburb. In 1970, he entered into a partnership opening Wyoming Veterinary Clinic on Springfield Pike as a satellite clinic of MAH. Dr. Grossi served as a primary surgeon at MAH during morning hours, and then he traveled to Wyoming for office calls in the afternoon. In 1998, he decided to build his own full service veterinary hospital for his wonderful clients and patients, offering comprehensive health care, grooming, and boarding. Broadening these services in 2012, Dr. Grossi developed an association with Dr. William Rogers who specializes in Veterinary Internal Medicine. Dr. Rogers sees patients on Thursdays at Wyoming Veterinary Clinic, offering specialized services such as ultrasound and endoscopic procedures. Dr. Grossi has devoted his life to his profession and stays current on new veterinary techniques. He has a particular interest in surgery, including orthopedics (ACL repair, fracture repair, etc.), urinary & digestive tract surgeries (cystotomy, splenectomy, gastrotomy, etc), and exploratory surgery to name a few. Dr. Grossi shares his home with two very spoiled children Marcello, a 9 year old Schnauzer and Sage, a 5 year old Standard Poodle. They travel to Wyoming with him every day and keep watch over the east wing of the hospital, expecting payment in advance for their long days at work
