Dear Dr. Katie and Dr. Sarah ~
Mine is a voice from a few years back when I traveled from Beachwood to your clinic with McKenzie (my dearest love ~;still! !)
It's been several years now since I've visited there with my darling Kenzie ~ but this is a very necessary message that I need you to read!
Since my last very sad visit with you ~ the day Kenzie left my side; I've never forgotten the way you helped with this transition; and especially, today ~ I need to share this with you.
My friend lost her beloved babe yesterday. Of course, she's in great pain over this; but more than that, I'm in pain because of the way this transition took place. Compared to the way you presented this for one of my saddest days ~ well, there is none! You made this happen in the kindest way I've ever experienced with any of my babes! The kindness, your concern with Kenzie and your respect for our feelings ~ well, for this and so many more reasons that would fill a book! ~ I thank you for who you are; and what you do! Take pride in what it is that you do. It takes kindness in a business to share respect and to honor both, a human life and that of their precious Pet ~ in perhaps one of the most remembered situations ~ end of life! Dr. Sara ~ my personal thank you for going out of your way 'to be there' for McKenzie and me ~ I am most grateful and always will remember this!
My deepest regard.
