Veterinarian Overview
Dr. John Gatens (Dr. Jay) is originally from Fraziers Bottom, WV. He attended West Virginia University and graduated with a bachelor of science in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. Dr. Jay is a 2005 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He spent 5 years in mixed animal practice in SE Indiana prior to relocating to central Ohio. Dr. Jay enjoys surgery with an interest in orthopedic procedures. He is married to Dr. Nikki and together they have 3 dogs (Walter, Andi, and Daisy), 2 goats (Elmo and Elsie), and a cow (Cindy) He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Gatens has a daughter, Gabrielle.
