Veterinarian Overview
Having grown up in Coshocton, Ohio, Dr. Robert Outzs found inspiration for his career in animal medicine by working for a local veterinarian. He also nursed lost baby birds back to health, and visited large cat and reptile exhibits at the zoo.Dr. Outzs began his undergraduate studies at the University of Cincinnati in the pre-veterinary program, and he earned early acceptance into The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, from which he graduated in 1989.Today, Dr. Outzs has professional interests in surgery and reptile medicine. Dr. Outzs enjoys hiking in the mountains, playing tennis and volunteering for Habitat For Humanity. He shares his home with a Chihuahua named Sadie and a cat named Snowbell.
