Veterinarian Overview
We are happy to introduce our new Veterinary Associate, Dr. Bethany Gibson. Dr. Gibson is originally from Ashville,Ohio. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and went to work at a mixed animal practice in northeastern Kentucky. In 2012, she started her residency in theriogenology (a fancy word for animal reproduction) at the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She completed her residency as well as her MS in cattle embryology at Virginia Tech in 2014. She is pleased to be back near her roots working at both Kingston Veterinary Hospital and Village Animal Hospital in Ashville. Outside of work she enjoys the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Buckeyes. Bethany lives in Ashville with her dog, a golden retriever mix named Honey Louise who is very jealous every day when her mom gets home from work
