I took my disabled tripod dog in because i believed he hurt the bone in his nub. He is 10 years old and had been under the previous care of the office. I was told she was new and was great. She took one look at my dog said his bone was shattered without any X-rays or examination other than site. She said my dog needed a full amputation or euthanized. When i tried to explain to her i had concern about full amputation and his stress level she got very angry with me and said "DO YOU KNOWHOW PAINFUL THIS IS?! MY DAD HAD THIS!" I have no idea what she was referring to because she offered me nothing didn't even suggest an xray. I was quite pissed at her attitude and referral of her dad because I was there to get proper care for my dog. I tried to explain my dog had been in the best health in 3 years considering what he'd been through with the previous amputation that had gone wrong and she blew up on me again because I carried my dog in by his harness. But i had asked the front wether to bring him in in his wheelchair or by harness through the back and the receptionist said by harness through the back. She said she wouldn't participate iin torturing my dog. Told us to leave. I called her a bitch told her not to charge me and said fine get out. She didn't offer any care I think she just wanted me to euthanize my dog without any procedures to check his vital or any X-rays. She didn't offer any explanation nor did she offer a referral to anyone for a full amputation. She literally blew up on me when i was there to get my dog help and proper care. I left quite pissed after getting her business card from the receptionist which i had asked Kimberly for but she did not return with one while i was bandaging my dogs leg back up. The next day I called the office to get their email to complain to the owner and within half hour the Humane association and another officer was at my door to investigate my dogs health. So at this point im realizing this bitch wants my dog put down immediately. She did not fill out a proper complaint form just called it in. No evidence was offered from her because I have a copy of the file and as I stated she had done nothing to properly care for my dog. Though they had zero reason to be at my home investigating the possibility of my torturing my dog I did let them see him as well as a picture of his wound. They were quite impressed said her didnt show signs of pain that they figured he was pretty old and understood his cough and need for a refill on the theophilline he had been on for a year prior. There was no written complaint. They left. This woman is inhumane. I would never reccomend anyone to her and will make it my goal to make sure her license is thoroughly investigated and hopefully taken. She has put me in a position that I could not get another appointment with another vet and would have had to sit with my dog for 3 hours in a car waiting on an emergency appointment downtown. I wont put him through that. She has stolen 4 days from him getting proper care other than what I am doing for him at home. And she has given private information to others that I did not authorize for an intrusion on my private property to harass me and my dog. This has caused us both an insurmountable amount of stress. She should not ever care for anyones pet. I will be filing a formal complaint with her insurance.
