NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO REDWOOD VETERENARIAN HOSPITAL IN FERRY.
They caused both my dogs to suffer and are now leaving them to suffer.
They refuse to see my dog Camo without a $50 missed appointment fee after months of previous treatment by them.
They also will not see my dog Daisey for a simple nail trim because she is 1 month behind on her rabies vaccine, so essentially they will not trim her super long nails unless I pay them $125 to vaccinate my dog.
They say it's policy that they cannot do nail trims for her because she is not vaccinated for Rabies..
It's because she is a pitbull, they are targeting her over her breed.
To Dr. Alyssa Wood it's all about the money and not the animals.
They didn't want a simple $25 nail trim job so they turned it into a $200 job.
They did not want a simple $40 visit for medicine so they also turned that into a $90 job.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.
They first told me that the Rabies Vaccine is one of the only shots that you cannot buy on your own.
Then I found that they lied to me because I found dozens of rabies vaccine brands online.
So that tells you right there, they just wanted me to pay THEM to do it.
So to avoid paying a large unnecessary fee for vaccination and nail trim, I bought a rabies vaccine amd gave it to her myself, so then I called and asked for an appointment since I got her vaccine, they put me on hold for 8 minutes and then they hung up on me.
When I called back they said because I gave her the vaccine, the State won't recognize it which prevents them from doing the nail trim and has prompted them to remove both of my dogs and me from their systems.
So now they left both of my dogs to suffer greatly, all over MONEY.
It's a shame that people become veterenarians for the money and not for the animals. It's truthfully sad.
I cannot afford all of these ridiculous and ILLEGAL Hidden Fees and absurdly ludicrous policies.
I am somewhat struggling right now.
This is animal neglect.
Dr. Alyssa wood is conducting malpractice in that office.
My dog Camo has had a medical skin condition for 3 years because Dr. Wood will not run tests and treat the illness, she intact refuses to do so.
All she ever does is provide meds and charge me out the ass for them because if she treats the condition and cures it, then I won't have to come back and pay her more money.
So to not treat the condition and just continue making appointments and proving and charging for meds, they can keep me coming back amd continuously paying them.
THIS PLACE IS ONE BIG GIANT SCAM.
I have been in contact with my attorney over this and we will be seeking restitution, reimbursement in a lawsuit that will likely be jointly filed with 2 other individuals who have been victim of Dr Wood's malpractice.
