Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Thomas Lowery grew up on a dairy farm in a small town in Northern Illinois. Working with the cattle and watching the farms own veterinarian helped develop a desire for him to become one. Dr. Lowery attended the University of Illinois for both his undergraduate and veterinary degree. Dr. Lowery spent the next 4 years working across Wisconsin followed by his dog BlackJack and his cats Burke and Herman. For the first two years he focused solely on Dairy Medicine, and later developed in to what he does now, which is working with animals both large and small. Dr. Lowery moved to Columbus in August 2012 to be with his wife, a Veterinary Neurologist at MedVet. Dr. Lowery started at Feeder Creek in October 2012. Dr. Lowerys focus is Dairy Production Medicine while still working with both Large and Small animals. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, and attending as many Clippers games as possible. Dr. Lowery and his wife have taken to exploring all Ohio has to offer, including visiting the many local breweries and wineries.
