Veterinarian Overview
Brent Couts: Dr. Brent Couts joined the practice as a relief vet in December of 2008. Dr. Brent became a permanent part of the staff in August of 2009. He went to the University of Findlay for his undergraduate degrees in pre-veterinary medicine and biology. He then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts before completing his clinical year at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. He completed his degree of a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. He is married to Dr. Adrienne Barchard, also a veterinarian, and has a son named Ian. He is expecting a daughter in the spring of 2013. Dr. Brent enjoys the outdoors and especially likes bow hunting. He spends his free time gardening, baking cheesecakes, and running (a hobby he just recently taken on). When not busy with those activities, he can be found spending time with his family or working on various projects in his 'man cave'.
