Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Tim Kennemer was raised in Edmond and has been taking care of its cats and dogs since the founding of Sunset Veterinary Clinic in 1996. As part of the community, Dr. Kennemer delights in serving multiple members and generations of Edmond families, and seeing children of clients grow up, become pet owners and start their own families.Dr. Kennemer attended Ida Freeman Elementary School and graduated from Edmond Memorial High School in 1978. The following year he married his high school sweetheart, Teresa Gale. From a young age, he enjoyed animals, the applied sciences and solving problems, which made veterinary medicine an ideal career choice. Dr. Kennemer received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in 1987.
