Dr. Duell was excellent in every regard in diagnosing and treating my Aussie/Heeler mix’s abscess. We talked through likely causes and he explained possible diagnostic tools and treatments, allowing me to make an informed decision. He’s an excellent small animal surgeon, and the staff was also very attentive and helpful. I would recommend his services to anyone.

Dr. Duell was chief surgery resident at OSU when I took my Havanese, Gracie, for surgery to correct a natural stint that shunted her blood around her liver. I had an especially emotional attachment to Gracie, because she had been given to me by my children and grandchildren, including my precious son-in-love during the week between my husband's death and my son-in-love being killed by a distracted driver. AlthoughGracie developed severe brain inflammation after the surgery, I could not have been more pleased with the care, treatment, compassion and love given by Dr. Duell. He did everything possible to save Sadie and helped me tremendously in knowing how to look for another Havanese. If my current and much beloved Havanese, Sadie, ever needs surgery, I will drive the several hundred miles from where I live, for Dr. Duell to treat her. I tried to leave things about the office blank, as I have never been there, but it keeps giving it the lowest score. It should be N/A
