Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sarah Lavery, a Pittsburgh native, joined our team in the Spring of 2013. She brings 6 years of General and Emergency Medicine experience, along with her enthusiasm for Animal Health to our already rocking team of Animal Care Professionals! Dr. Lavery graduated from Michigan State University in 2007 with a BS in Veterinary Science and her DVM degree. Veterinary Medicine is only one of Dr. Laverys passions. She also owns The Pet Bakery of Oakmont, loves to travel, aids in research for conservation medicine, plays a horrible guitar, enjoys local music and art of all genres, officiates weddings, works on her broken Spanish, enjoys contributing to the survival of small, local businesses, and has recently joined the county as a polling place employee for our upcoming elections! Dr. Sarah resides in Oakmont, Pennsylvania with her 2 cats (Ygritte and Nay-Nay), her Rottie puppy (Dr. Cooper), her Pit Bull Puppy (Arya), and her awesome roommates!
