Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Abbey Stella is originally from Westfield, Massachusetts. She earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Tufts Cummings school of veterinary medicine and completed a rotating small animal internship at the VCA Veterinary Speciality Center of Seattle, Washington. Abbey wanted to return to the northeast and worked as an emergency veterinarian at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists for the last 4 years before joining the Oaklawn Animal Hospital family. Abbeys interests include emergency and critical care medicine, preventative medicine, and cardiology. When not working, Abbey is outside as much as possible, hiking, running, paddling, gardening and skiing with her husband Eric and her dog Orienne. She also shares her home with her two rescue cats- Oscar and Oliver, who have moved with Abbey 9 times including two cross country car trips.
