He took his first job as a veterinarian in a clinic outside of Atlanta, and married his wife, Laura, shortly afterward. Laura works as a veterinary internal medicine specialist; when she took a job in Greenville, Dr. Cousins accompanied her and was thrilled to discover an opening here at Paw Prints Animal Hospital. Hes been a member of the clinic family since 2006.In his time away from work, Dr. Cousins enjoys spending time with his two young daughters (both of whom are growing up far too quickly), playing golf, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. Along with his wife and girls, Dr. Cousins shares his home with Herschel, an English bulldog who enjoys nipping at his owners toes when hesnotscavenging for food; Whiskers, a crazy cat who insists on being petted at all times; and Winky, a guinea pig who loves eating so much that he starts whistling when he hears the refrigerator door open
