Love Dr. Nifong. Sorry she left Banfield but I would love you know where she is. She is fabulous and I want her back. I don't trust these ones here.
I brought my dog Zoey to Banfield after being seen by two other Vets about a problem with her foot. Her regular Vet could not tell me what was wrong after Zoey being on antibiotics several times. His eventual cure was to have her foot amputated. I chose not to do that and made an appointment at Banfield. We met Dr Nifong and the rest of the staff. Immediately I knew we were in the right place. They love animals. They greet us immediately when we get there. They are always happy to see Zoey and they give her so much love. Dr . Nifong was so gentle with Zoey and talked to her while she examined her. She ordered test and it did not take long and Dr Nifong found that Zoey had Cancer in her toe. Finally, we have an answer. Dr Nifong amputated her toe only. The Cancer has not spread and Zoey is just perfect. Everyone at Banfield on Laurens Rd in Greenville SC are 5
My dog, MJ, was seeing Dr. Nifong for several months for IMHA. Dr. Nifong, thought MJ was well enough to receive a rabies vaccination, although all research shows that when a dog is sick, they don't need to be injected with the rabies vac. I did not know this, at the time. Dr. Nifong, should have known this. The medication sent her immune system into a tailspin
Dr. Nifong is a very thorough and friendly vet. I have had the opportunity to have her examine my pets on more than one occasion, and she comes across as very experienced and knowledgeable in veterinary medicine. On top of that, she has a very outgoing and friendly personality. I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone looking for a veterinarian.
