Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Matthew Fortin joined the CPRVC team in June 2015, shortly after graduating from Cornells College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to starting veterinary school, Dr. Fortin spent time volunteering with the ASPCA and the Wildlife Conservation Societys New York Aquarium. He has also volunteered with the Human Societys Rural Area Veterinary Service. Dr. Fortins special interests include soft tissue surgery, cardiology and shelter medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Fortin enjoys mountain biking, sailing, downhill skiing, and sitting on the beach with his fiancé Nicole (also a vet) and their Shepherd mix, Maggie and Newfoundland, Clementine.
