Veterinarian Overview
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Arts degree in Deaf Education from Gallaudet University. I am able to communicate using American Sign Language. After 4 years of teaching, I pursued my childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. I joined the VMS team in 2003 and honestly could not have found a better place to work. I love being a veterinarian and am proud to be part of a team that practices such high quality medicine. I am married to Derham, who is a native of Florence, South Carolina. He is a Special Education teacher. We are the very proud parents of a son who was born in November of 2008. We have 3 Labrador Retrievers and 3 black cats. When I am not working, I like to spend time with my husband, son, and pets, especially doing outdoors activities. I also enjoy watching movies and eating Mexican food.Dr. Holland is a member of AVMA, AAHA, and AAFP.
