Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wendy Rosenbek is originally from Boulder, Colorado. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1984 and earned her veterinary degree at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, graduating in 1987. After working two years in Knoxville, she returned to her home state to practice until 1995, when her friend and classmate, Dr. Angela Aymett of Pulaski, invited her back to Tennessee. Dr. Rosenbek (or Dr. Wendy to most of her clients) lives with her husband and son on their small farm with many dogs, cats and horses. A long-distance horse-back rider in her leisure time, Dr. Wendy originally planned to be a horse doctor, but the complexity and challenge of small animal practice and the opportunity to help people with their pets was ultimately more compelling.
