Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Thomas D. Edmonds, owner and founder of Hickman Veterinary Hospital, is a University of Georgia graduate who works on both large and small animals. He enjoys the variety of animals and situations that arise in a rural practice, surgery of all types, and the challenge of diagnosing unusual illness and injury. Dr. Edmonds is a past president of the Hickman County Chamber of Commerce and is also a former Hickman County School Board member. In addition, he is a former member of the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Dr. Edmonds enjoys bicycling and bird hunting. He raises cattle and tends hay with his son and son-in-law when not working.
