Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Karl Kapoor has been at Pinecrest Veterinary Clinic since its opening in 1985. He graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. After many years of solo practice, Dr. Kapoor is thankful and blessed to have a wonderful associate, Dr. Hinkle, as well as a skilled, knowledgeable and enjoyable team of staff members to work with each day. Between the Kapoors, Karl and Anna, along with their son Nathan, daughter-in-law Amber, and daughter Sarah, there are an assortment of four-legged family members: a cat, O2; a horse, Majorette; and three dogs, Kelvin, Frankie and Miri, not to mention the entire family of patients at Pinecrest. In addition to clinic associated activities, the Kapoor family also invests time and effort into the East Tennessee Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the ETSU Wesley Foundation, a variety of functions at First United Methodist Church, Family Promise, and various other organizations. Dr. Kapoor has tremendously enjoyed participating with the Johnson City District Partners in Mission program in the Czechia (Czech Republic) through 4 mission teams over the years. Most recently, he joined his wife Anna on a Medical Mission Team to Mexico. (He was not one of the doctors!) Although by no means a professional photographer, he enjoys taking pictures and sharing them.
