Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Strickler is an East Tennessee native raised just outside of Kingsport in the community of Indian Springs. He attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he received his B.S. in Animal Science from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources in 1992 and his DVM from the College ofVeterinary Medicine in 1996. Dr. Strickler has practiced locally since graduation. He joined Young's Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian in December 2001 and is now a partner. He is interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine, but particularly enjoys canine and feline internal medicine. He and his wife, Beth, who is also a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine as a veterinary behaviorist, live in Fall Branch and have two sons, Caleb and Joshua. His family enjoys the outdoors through gardening and farming. They have two dogs, four cats, two horses, chickens, and cattle. Dr. Strickler is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association.
