Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hyatt, a Kingsport native, is a 1970 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. After graduation he served two years in the US Army Veterinary Corps. In 1972 he started Colonial Heights Animal Hospital. Dr. Hyatt has served as president of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association and also served a term on the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Currently he is serving on the Deans Alumni Council at Auburns College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hyatt is married and he and Jamie are the parents of two grown daughters and have 3 beautiful grandchildren. The Hyatts live on a small farm and enjoy raising sheep.
