Veterinarian Overview
Hello! Thank you for considering Animal Medical Clinic of Loudon County as your partner in caring for your 4-legged family members. My name is Heather OÂ’Brien and I have been the owner and veterinarian at AMC for the past 20 years. Practicing veterinary medicine is a joy, and for me it is living out a childhood dream. I am a 1989 graduate of University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. The human/animal bond is remarkable. I have seen pets get autistic children to speak, give the elderly a will to live, and help those recovering from a serious illness a reason to get better. I am especially interested in preventative health care to help our pets live the longest and healthiest lives possible. My own 4-legged family consists of five dogs, seven horses, and one cat. The rest of my family consists of one husband, Jan Hahn, a retired family physician, and three wonderful daughters, Micah (29 yrs.), Avi (24 yrs.), and Mara (20 yrs.). We look forward to seeing your pets at Animal Medical Clinic and pampering them as if they were our own!
