Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Caraballo grew up in Uruguay, South America. While in College in her native country, she worked at a Research Institute in the areas of Pathology and Nutrition. She moved to this country to pursue her dream of obtaining the best education possible to heal and help injured animals. Dr. Caraballo attended Purdue University and worked for 15 years as a family veterinarian before she became involved in rehabilitation. When her old german shepherd Cid started having neurologic problems, Dr. Caraballo started looking for other ways to help him besides just medication. She decided to pursue her Certification in Animal Rehabilitation through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute (CRI). In order to complete her training, she also attended Seminars on Canine Neurologic Rehabilitation, The Multimodal Approach to the Geriatric Patient and Canine Sports Medicine.
