Veterinarian Overview
Dr. John Zavaro received his B.S. from the University of Kentucky in 1998 and his DVM from Auburn University in 2003. He started Healthy Petz in January of 2008. Dr. Zavaro is a member of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Zavaro enjoys raising cattle and riding horses on his farm with his wife,daughter and son. His extended family include his cat named Catfish, a French Bulldog named Soleil, three golden retrievers named Kula, Flair, and Gauge. As you can see, the love for animals is deeply woven into his professional, family life and recreation.
