Veterinarian Overview
Mark is a 1982 graduate from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Wooten has always had a passion for horses and utilizes his 33 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian to rehabilitate and restore performance horses of all disciplines. Dr. Wooten is a firm believer in injury prevention and treating the whole horse using therapeutic equipment such as the ECB Cold Water Spa, the EquiPulse Laser and the AquaPacer along with therapies such as acupuncture and chiropractic services. Dr. worked in partnership with The Jaeckle Centre to create Equine Performax in 2013. According to Dr. Wooten, Equine Performax provides the ideal service combination of Veterinary and Rehabilitation Services. We work to keep client equine athletes sound during their challenging competitive schedules and, in the event of injury, we work to accelerate the healing process with a variety of treatment and rehabilitative therapy options so they can go back to work as quickly as possible.
