Veterinarian Overview
I became a veterinarian because it was the only job that I could see myself doing and I love animals. I look forward to taking care of your pets and I am very excited to be part of the Midtown family.' Dr. Jessie Richardson a native Tennessean. She received a B.S.in Biology from the University of Tennessee-Martin before graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in Knoxville. Dr. Richardson joined the Midtown Veterinary team in June 2017 and says that she loves the variety of mixed animal medicine, having a special interest in pathology. Along with the current animals seen at Midtown Veterinary, she will also treat small ruminants (goats, sheep, alpacas), reptiles (snakes, lizards), and cattle. Dr. Richardson is also passionate about animal advocacy. When she is not busy at the clinic taking care of the health and well being of your animals, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her cats Oshi and Ruthie or enjoying water sports and video games.
