Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Paola Lazaretti Lott was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she attended the Veterinary School at the University of Sao Paulo (USP). She graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1996, completed a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 1998, and received her MasterÍs Degree in Small Animal Internal Medicine (with an emphasis on canine kidney disease) in 2000. She began a successful practice in Sao Paulo, which she left in 2003 to study kidney disease with Dr. George Lees at Texas A&M University. Dr. Lott moved to Dallas in 2007, where she got married (to a Texan!), received her Veterinary License to practice in the U.S., and joined the VCA Beltline East team (in April 2009). Her special interests include General Medicine, Emergency Critical Care, and Nephrology.
