Veterinarian Overview
Although originally from the Carolinas, Dr. Groemminger is one of the transplanted Texans who arent native, but got here as fast as she could! Dr. Groemminger graduated with her Bachelors of Science from the University of South Carolina, and then moved to Houston. She worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a clinical research scientist before attending Veterinary School at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2005. Dr. Groemminger has been a full time small animal emergency practitioner for the past 10 years, is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association. Dr Groemminger has maintained a strong interest in shelter medicine since in veterinary school and has been lucky enough as an emergency practitioner to also participate with most of the humane organizations in Houston, including the Houston SPCA, SNAP, Houston Humane Society, BARC and others as a relief veterinarian. She has a strong interest in both internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Groemminger is a resident of Bridgeland in Cypress, with her wife Angie, four children, parents Joe and Rosie and her standard poodle, Izzy.
