Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Scott has an incredible love for birds and exotic animals that sets her apart from many other veterinarians. She has dedicated her life to improving the lives and health of rare exotic animals. Dr. Scott graduated from Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989, followed by an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Texas A&M. After completing her residency in zoological medicine at University of California at Davis, Dr. Scott moved back to Texas. Dr. Scott has been in private practice since 1992. She was awarded Diplomate Status in the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, Avian Practice Specialty in 1997. At home, Dr. Scott owns parrots, tortoises, doves and a guinea pig. She enjoys caring for all pets including, dogs, cats, birds, small mammals and reptiles.
