I have never experienced the the lack of compassion, table side manner, ability to calm or care for an animal that was stressed due to the rough and careless behavior of a veterinarian. He couldn't administer oral vaccine any better than he could administer the shots. He walked into the room and immediately, without introduction (new vet) grabbed my dog and stuck a needle into his leg for his blood test. It went downhill from there. I couldn't believe I'm watching this "Doctor" dig through his assistants lab jacket pocket for the cover of the needle as she held my dog aggressively down to the table. Why she was holding him I don't know, the doctor had already removed the needle and laid it on the table. Oh, and the rabies vaccine was so bad. I felt so sorry for my furr baby.
Now, that is just the doctor's conduct. I called two days earlier to make the appointment and get pricing. The office staff gave me pricing for vaccination. Did not mention the $35.00 office visit charge, the $15.00 nail trim charge or that their would be a $4.75 SERVICE FEE to use my bank card. The $35.00 office visit charge is normal but as I was trying to budget this visit, the staff should have let me know that charge existed. When given the total of services and I handed them my card, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD that they would be charging an additional $ 4.75 for a service fee. if it was for using the card I could have paid with cash.
DO NOT GO TO THIS NEW VET IN IRVING.
