Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Laura Wiles is the daughter of an Air Force pilot and has lived and traveled all over the world. Most of her formative years were spent in England. She moved to Germany for her senior year of high school and then traveled to College Station, Texas in 1989 to attend Texas A&M University. She received a teaching degree from A&M in 1994 and moved to Dallas to begin her first career as an elementary school teacher. Dr. Wiles had always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, so she began taking night classes in Dallas to obtain her prerequisites for veterinary school. In 1999, she was accepted into the Texas A&M veterinary school and received her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2003. She returned to Dallas to begin practicing medicine. Dr. WilesÂ’ special interests include internal medicine cases, dermatology, and nutrition. She lives in a house in East Dallas with her 6 cats and 3 spoiled Chihuahuas
