Veterinarian Overview
Although born in California, Dr. Lavigne was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a child, he and his family had a variety of pets- from dogs, to reptiles to horses. This early exposure to animals created in Dr. Lavigne a love of animals that has not only endured a lifetime, but has also led him to a very rewarding career in veterinary medicine. He attended Xavier University in New Orleans, where he and his wife Anne met as students, completing his undergraduate studies in Biology. It was during this time that he made the choice to minor in Pre-Veterinary studies and pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Dr. Lavigne attended Tuskegee University in Alabama where earned his DVM in 2007.
