Suburbia North Animal Hospital owned and operated by Kay McGuire, DVM, MS. Dr. McGuire is a 1988 Graduate of Texas A& M University. She holds a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Science and a M.S. in Veterinary Epidemiology, all from Texas A& M University. Dr. McGuire's special interest is small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Her hobbies center around her love of dogs, competing in dog shows in both conformation and performance events. She has produced many Champions in both Gordon Setters and West Highland White Terriers which she enjoys exhibiting herself. She is also recognized as a Breeder of Merit by The American Kennel Club. She serves as 2nd Vice President and Health Chair of the West Highland White Terrier Club of America and is Vice President of Health for the Westie Foundation of America. Dr. McGuire also serves as Treasurer of the West Highland White Terrier Club of Southeast Texas.
