Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Stocks is an Associate Veterinarian that joined the team in June of 2017. He enjoys internal medicine, dentistry and preventive medicine. He is part of the AVMA and attended Texas Tech University and Texas A&M, graduating from veterinary school in 1990. Dr. Russells passion for animals started when he was young, growing up on a cow ranch in West Texas. He would watch and assist Dr. Charles Edwards with the cattle, which inspired him to pursue a veterinary career. His love for animals doesnt stop at the office either! He has a has two English Mastiffs named Doc and Bella and two rescues named Wally and Aonie. Dr. Stocks and his wife, Jackie Lou, are parents to three daughters: Laura, Kristin and Chelsi, who are all now parents themselves! He loves spending time with his wife, Jackie Lou, his kids and grandkids, cooking and going to church.
