Veterinarian Overview
A 1981 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Aven joined Fischer Veterinary Clinic in 2002. Dr. Avens veterinary interests include internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Aven is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the Comal County Veterinary Medical Association. His two-legged family includes his wife, Jaime, and sons, Connor and Sam. His four-legged family includes Sophie the chihuahua,Dusty the cat, 25 goats, and 11 chickens round out the gang. Dr. Avens hobbies include fishing, gardening, and farming.
