Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mathew Thomas is a licensed veterinarian with over 25 years of extensive veterinary clinical experience. He graduated from veterinary school in India, and received his DVM from Iowa State University. He has been practicing both general and emergency medicine in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex for the past nine years. Dr. Thomas is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS), and the Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association (TCVMA). He brings a progressive and a compassionate approach to pet healthcare. He takes great pride in the close bond he shares with his patients and their humans alike. He has an eye for detail and is incredibly thorough in diagnosing and caring for each patient. Dr. Thomas is very comfortable and love to perform routine and emergency surgeries, some orthopedic surgeries, and even some exotic pets! Behind the scenes, Dr. Thomas stays busy with his family, Mickey the Yorkie, and Oreo the cat. He has three kids and has been married for 22 years.
