Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Schofield joined the Angel Animal Hospital team in June 2015. She earned her DVM from Texas A&M and is affiliated with the TVMA. Her decision to pursue veterinary medicine stemmed from her strong love for animals since childhood. I grew up always having animals in my house and had a strong love for and desire to help them, she said. I also always had an interest in science and medicine, so veterinary medicine was the perfect path for me. As one of our associate veterinarians, she enjoys working with a group of compassionate people who share her goal of improving the lives of animals and the human-animal bond. I love seeing the joy on an owners face as their pet starts to feel better after coming to see us, she said. When shes not a work, Dr. Schofield cares for her own pets, a lab mix named Molly and a cat named Pop. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, listening to music, and playing the flute, piccolo, and piano.
