Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Tate graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in Psychology and Neuroscience in 2008. She then worked as a Veterinary Technician for 4 years in general practice. She received her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine(St. Kitts) in 2015, after completing a year of clinical rotations at the University of Florida. She returned to the Austin area to complete her externships, one of which was at EAHNWA, developing a passion for emergency medicine. Dr. Tate is now very excited to join the hospital team as a staff member. She has two rescue dogs: Delainey, a three-legged German Shorthair Pointer and Remington, a Bernese Mountain Dog. In her free time, Dr. Tate enjoys traveling, scuba diving, boating, hiking with the pups and spending time with family.
