Veterinarian Overview
Edmund Meier, Jr. is the owner of Leon Valley Veterinary Hospital. Edmund knew he wanted to be a veterinarian from the time he was a small boy, raising a menagerie of animals from sheep and goats to chickens and pigeons. Growing up a half-mile from the hospital, Edmund brought all of his animals for treatment here. It was no surprise, then, when he graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in 1988, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. After obtaining his DVM, he went to work for the owner and eventually bought Leon Valley Veterinary Hospital, his home-away-from-home, in March 2001.
