Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Danielle Boyd is a resident at STVO and joined the team in 2016. She began her veterinary career at Pima Community College where she became a licensed-certified veterinary technician. She then earned her bachelors of science degree in Agribusiness/ Pre-vet at Arizona State University followed by her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and her Masters in Public Health from St. George's University. Dr. Boyd completed her fourth/clinical year of veterinary school at North Caroline State University. Following her school years, Dr. Boyd completed a one year small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson in Arizona. From there, she completed a one year ophthalmology specialty internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital and VCA Great Lakes Veterinary Specialists in Ohio. programs. Some of her community services have included spay/neuter and vaccine programs in under served communities and Indian reservations, human hospitals supporting therapy dog programs, soup kitchens prepping meals for families in-need during the holidays and tutoring children during after school program
