My Pixie needed baby teeth removed and was in pain. Dr Mairs did not get around to doing anything for a whole week. She gave Pixie a prescription for Previcox that was inappropriate. Twice the recommended dosage per # and it was not supposed to be given to a dog under 12.5 #. Pixie was about 3.5#. Pixie’s digestive system was destroyed. She then charged nearly $600 for an IV and blamed the problem on a liver shunt she did not have ($900 test), brain defect( before Previcox she was very smart and showed no signs of this). She blamed everything else but was not apologetic nor sorry she killed my beloved puppy. In fact told me if I did not like the “care” Pixie was getting I could feel free to take her someplace else.She also pulled her knee out of joint, couldn’t get it back in and handed me Pixie back in that condition.
